Law enforcement report

Lawrence police took one adult and three juveniles into custody Saturday night after a car chase in central Lawrence. Few details were available about the incident.

According to Sgt. Mark Warren, the chase began at 10:22 p.m. at 14th Street and Lawrence Avenue.

He said the suspect drove east on Bob Billings Parkway to Iowa Street, where the suspect’s vehicle was involved in a noninjury accident, Warren said. The suspect then drove east on 19th Street to Naismith Drive. The suspect went south on Naismith to 23rd Street to Ousdahl Road. Warren said the driver looped around the Redbud area two or three times before traveling east on 27th Street to Louisiana Street. The driver went south on Louisiana to 31st Street and on to Gaslight Village at 1900 W. 21st. St.

Warren said the driver and some of the juvenile passengers had warrants for their arrest. Additional information was not known Saturday night.
