Law enforcement report

¢ A 21-year-old Lawrence man on Saturday reported an incident of aggravated assault and criminal threat involving handguns in the 600 block of Gateway Court, a police report said. The man told police he and a friend were at his residence about 3 a.m. when two subjects came in, Lawrence police spokeswoman Kim Murphree said. The man said he asked the subjects to leave and they did, but later returned with a third subject, Murphree said. The man said he again asked the subjects to leave and followed them outside when he observed two of the men had handguns on their waistbands, Murphree said. The victim reported he received aggressive comments, but did not feel threatened.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 32-year-old Andrews, Texas, resident on Saturday reported the theft of more than $1,700 in jewelry and other items from a vehicle in the 2300 block of West Sixth St. The incident occurred between 9 p.m. Friday and 11:40 a.m. Saturday.

¢ An 18-year-old De Soto man on Sunday reported $1,300 in criminal damage to a 1990 Nissan in the 2500 block of West 31st St. The incident occurred between 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.
