— The search for a missing Perry man continued Wednesday.

Law enforcement officers planned to search the ground along the Delaware River, Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Herrig said. Officers initially wanted to conduct dragging operations on the river Wednesday morning, but the boat ramp was too icy to use, Herrig said.

Shawn Fowler, 44, has been missing for two weeks. Fowler’s house is near the river and he has a medical condition that could cause him to become disoriented and confused, officers said. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has long brown hair and a beard. Anyone who has seen him should call emergency officials at (785) 863-2351.

I so really hope, he is not in the Delaware river. I have saw fish come out of that thing. HUGE!!!! I so feel for his family. The not knowing his wear abouts is just aweful! This may sound grim (not trying to be) But if he is indeed in that river, I don't ever see them finding his body after this long. I guess everyone can stil have hope that he returns safe an unharmed. I have faith in Jefferson county officers, ect. That they will do what ever they can to find him or find out what may of happened to him. I send my prayers to his family, cause I couldn't begin to imagine what they are going through. May God bless them
