December graduates to be honored at KU

Kansas University will recognize December graduates with several upcoming ceremonies.

About 230 students in the School of Business will graduate. The ceremony will be at 4 p.m. Friday at the Lied Center.

The School of Engineering’s ceremony will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Woodruff Auditorium in the Kansas Union. About 120 students plan to graduate this fall.

The William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications’ ceremony for about 70 students will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in Woodruff Auditorium.

About 275 students out of 1,050 summer and fall graduates are expected to attend the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences’ ceremony at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Lied Center.

The law school’s hooding ceremony is at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 19 in Woodruff Auditorium, and about 20 students are expected to participate.

The Army ROTC unit will commission four graduates at 10 a.m. Dec. 19 in the Military Science Building, 1520 Summerfield Hall Drive. A fifth Army ROTC student and Baker University graduate will be commissioned during a Friday ceremony in Baldwin City.

The Naval ROTC unit will commission one officer at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 20 in the Military Science Building.
