Investigators have cleared the scene of an unattended death near the Kansas University campus Thursday afternoon, emergency dispatchers said.

Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical and the Lawrence Police Department were investigating the death of a man at the Berkeley Flats apartments, 1123 Ind. The call came in before 3 p.m. Thursday.

Lawrence police Capt. Ray Urbanek said officers discovered nothing suspicious about the death.
