A Kansas University transit bus hit a parked car at 13th and Louisiana streets Tuesday morning, the KU Public Safety Office said.

The driver of the KU on Wheels bus hit the car while turning a corner, said Mike Sweeten, general manager of MV Transportation, which operates the bus system. No one was injured.

Less than $1,000 in damage was reported from the accident, said KU Public Safety spokesman Capt. Schuyler Bailey, who didn’t have further details.

A KU on Wheels bus was also involved in an accident last Friday morning, after a teenage driver hit it at 21st and Naismith Drive.
