Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence Police arrested a 32-year-old Lawrence man Friday on charges related to rape of a child. Police had no further information Saturday.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 50-inch Panasonic plasma television valued at $1,200 recently was reported stolen from the eighth floor lobby of the media area in Memorial Stadium on Kansas University’s campus. The incident occurred between 8 a.m. Aug. 8 and 9 a.m. Aug. 12.
