About 4:10 a.m. Saturday morning, a vehicle traveling eastbound on I-70 lost control and struck a barrier wall near mile marker 197, west of Lawrence.

The vehicle, a 2002 Kia, was traveling too fast for the rainy road conditions, according to the Kansas Turnpike Authority accident log.

The driver, Cindi Jo Glasscox, 48, Eudora, was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.
