Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police reported a possible assault with an air-powered weapon Monday night. At about 7:45 a female reported being hit in the head by what she thought was a BB gun pellet as she walked in the 1900 block of Ousdahl Road. She was not injured, but Lawrence police are investigating the incident.

Injury accidents

¢ A 38-year-old Valley Falls man was injured Monday afternoon after the back tire of his motorcycle locked up. Charles T. Willhoite was driving westbound on Kansas Highway 4, turning on to Kansas Highway 16, when the motorcycle malfunctioned. He was taken to Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka with minor injuries.

¢ A 23-year-old Leavenworth woman was injured when her vehicle overturned on Kansas Highway 5 on Friday. Rae Lynne Argersinger was traveling northbound when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to overturn. She was transported to Saint John Hospital in Leavenworth where she was treated and later released.

¢ A 24-year-old Lawrence woman suffered minor injuries when her vehicle overturned Sunday morning. Christine Erin Wolgast was driving north on Highway 24-40 when her tires slipped off the road. Wolgast overcorrected, crossing the southbound lane and entering a ditch. Her vehicle overturned once. She was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital with minor bruises and abrasions. The vehicle was totaled in the accident.

¢ Shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday, Leavenworth County sheriff’s deputies responded to an injury accident involving a motorcycle on Golden Road in Linwood. Eric White, 21, Linwood, was transported to Kansas University Hospital by air ambulance. A condition update for White was not available early Tuesday morning.
