Kansas University Hospital CEO Bob Page was named chairman of the 2008 Breath of Life Ball to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the hospital announced Tuesday.
The black-tie event will be Nov. 8 at the Westin Crown Center Hotel in Kansas City, Mo. It includes dinner, live and silent auctions and live music with dancing until midnight. Proceeds go toward finding a cure for cystic fibrosis, improved treatments and a higher quality of life for patients.

Let me think. Publicity/promotion for a fundraiser to raise money to help treat/prevent an illness that smothers young people to death. Is it really worth a three sentence article in the Lawrence Journal World. Gee, let me think about it!
