Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 65-year-old Lawrence woman reported her identity was falsely used to purchase $2,018 worth of computer equipment.

Injury Accidents

¢ A man suffered severe injuries in a single-vehicle rollover accident on County Road 1029 north of County Road 458, south of Clinton Lake, about 10 p.m. Wednesday. Officers from the Kansas Highway Patrol, Douglas County Sheriff’s Department, Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical and Clarion Springs Township Fire responded.

¢ A 45-year-old Leavenworth man was flown to Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan. by an air ambulance Sunday following a motorcycle accident in Leavenworth County. He was reported to be in fair condition Wednesday night.

According to the Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office, Todd Bullock was driving a 1972 Harley Davidson east on Santa Fe Trail when he lost control of the motorcycle on the south side of the roadway. Bullock was unsuccessful in his attempt to bring the motorcycle back onto the roadway. Bullock traveled through the grass when the motorcycle overturned throwing him off.

¢ The Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office was notified that a 19-year-old De Soto man was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital for a self-inflicted gunshot wound Aug. 7. The man was reported to be target shooting with a friend on a relative’s property, a field in the 13500 block of 166th Road, when he accidentally shot himself in the foot while holding a .22-caliber pistol by his side.
