Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police responded to an attempted burglary call at Glass House Liquor, 2301 Wakarusa Drive, just before 11 p.m. Thursday. An employee reported that a man in a ski mask and black clothing had a gun, but ran off before entering the store.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 53-year old Kansas City, Mo., man reported a music mixer and glass mirror were stolen from the 1700 block of West 24th Street between July 5 and July 7. The estimated loss is $2,000.

¢ A 40-year-old Kayenta, Ariz., woman reported women’s clothing, books and household items were among items stolen from the 700 block of Vermont Street. The incident occurred between July 28 and July 31. The estimated loss is $4,971.

¢ A 44-year-old Lawrence woman reported an Acer laptop, PlayStation and Panasonic camcorder were among items stolen from the 1600 block of E. 15th Street. The incident occurred between 6 p.m. Aug. 1 and 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Injury accidents

¢ Three people injured in a two-car accident on U.S. Highway 24/40 in Wyandotte County on Thursday were transported to hospitals. At 2:35 p.m., a 2001 Chevrolet driven by a 30-year-old Tonganoxie man was driving west on the highway. A 31-year-old Lawrence man was driving a 2007 FedEx truck north on 130th Street. The Chevrolet failed to stop for a red traffic light, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report. The truck struck the car in the driver’s side door. The 21-year-old Tonganoxie man and his passenger, a 20-year-old Tonganoxie man, were taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center. The Lawrence man was taken to Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan. Their conditions were not available Thursday night.
