LHS baseball falls, 6-3

Six errors proved to be too much for the Lawrence High baseball team to overcome and the Lions dropped their sixth game of the season Tuesday night.

LHS fell to 4-6 on the season after a 6-3 loss to Shawnee Mission West at Ice Field.

Only half of the Vikings’ runs were earned and the Lions wasted a solid pitching performance from sophomore Tanner Kilmer, who surrendered just two hits in five innings of work.

Next up, Lawrence will play host to Olathe East at 6 p.m. Thursday at Ice Field.
