Missouri man faces child rape charges
A 36-year-old Columbia, Mo., man has been brought back to Douglas County to face charges of child rape and aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
The man is accused of having sexual intercourse with and fondling a child from March 2003 to December 2005 in Douglas County. The child was ages 7 to 10 during that time, according to court records.
Missouri officials arrested the man on a warrant in March, and he was extradited to the Douglas County Jail last week. The man remains in jail on $50,000 bond.
Douglas County District Judge Jack Murphy has appointed Shelley K. Bock as his attorney.
