Lawrence police have released a description of a suspect in a reported armed robbery Wednesday night at Glass House Liquor, 2301 Wakarusa Drive.

Police said a man wearing a mask walked inside the store at 9:45 p.m., displayed a handgun and demanded cash. The suspect ran away from the store with an undisclosed amount of money. He was headed east. No injuries were reported.

According to a police report released Thursday morning, the suspect was described as a black man, wearing black clothing, a jacket with a hood and gloves.

Police ask anyone with information to call 843-TIPS.

The same store and another one in western Lawrence were robbed within an hour of each other on Dec. 31. Sgt. Paul Fellers, a Lawrence police spokesman, said no arrests had been made in those cases.
