Lawrence police were searching for a male suspect following an armed robbery Wednesday night.

According to police Capt. Ray Urbanek, a man in a mask, hood and dark clothing, armed with a handgun, robbed Glass House Liquor, 2301 Wakarusa Drive, at 9:48 p.m.

It was unknown Wednesday how much money was stolen. No further information was available. Police continued to search for the suspect.
