Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 21-year-old Lawrence woman reported a HP Pavillion notebook laptop was stolen between Nov. 23 and March 31. The location of the incident is unknown, according to a police report. The laptop was valued at $1,500.

¢ The Kansas University Public Safety Office reported a Dell desktop computer and monitor were removed from Wescoe Hall between March 29 and Monday. The computer was valued at $1,400.

¢ A MacBook laptop, valued at $1,200, was reported missing from McCollum Hall, according to a KU police report.

¢ Several computers were reported stolen from Haworth Hall between March 28 and March 29. Estimated loss is $5,933, according to a KU police report.

¢ Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect who reportedly fled from a Leavenworth home Thursday after stealing between $1,500 and $1,600 worth of jewelry. A 58-year-old Leavenworth man reported the crime occurred about 11:45 A.M. Thursday. The suspect was seen driving out of the area north on 126th Street and turning west onto McIntyre Road in a red Jeep. The suspect was described as a white male in his early to mid 20s, weighing 150 pounds and with dark hair. The investigation is ongoing.
