LHS soccer ties Manhattan, 3-3

? Shut out in five games this season, Lawrence High’s soccer team scored three goals at Manhattan on Monday night, but so did Manhattan. The Lions (1-6-1) settled for a 3-all tie.

“The boys were really excited,” coach Bill Kelly said of the offensive output.

Tor Fornelli forced overtime when he scored in the 80th minute. Matt Shipley scored the second LHS goal 15 minutes prior to Fornelli’s heroics. Taylor Bussinger scored the first goal.
