Kansas University’s music and dance department will present a benefit recital by Jack Winerock, professor of piano, at 3 p.m. Sept. 30 in Swarthout Recital Hall. All proceeds from this recital will be used as scholarship awards for KU piano students.

The recital will feature Winerock performing the works of Chopin, Ravel, Charles Griffes and Schubert.

The suggested minimum donation at the door is $10 for adults and $5 for students, but Winerock hopes that a number of persons might give at a level of $100 or more.
