Law enforcement report

¢ Garnett police on Tuesday contacted local authorities and reported two Kansas City, Kan., men were in custody in connection with the theft of a Chevrolet Cirrus from a residence in the 900 block of New Hampshire Street. The men, aged 23 and 24, are suspected in other incidents, including a theft and aggravated assault at 9:55 p.m. Monday in the 1800 block of West 23rd Street and an auto burglary and attempted auto theft shortly before 5 a.m. Tuesday in the 1600 block of Indiana Street. The investigation is ongoing.
