Law enforcement report

¢ Garnett police on Tuesday contacted local authorities and reported two Kansas City, Kan., men were in custody in connection with the theft of a Chevrolet Cirrus from a residence in the 900 block of New Hampshire Street. The men, aged 23 and 24, are suspected in other incidents, including a theft and aggravated assault at 9:55 p.m. Monday in the 1800 block of West 23rd Street and an auto burglary and attempted auto theft shortly before 5 a.m. Tuesday in the 1600 block of Indiana Street. The investigation is ongoing.

¢ Municipal alarm system, 1:28 a.m. Tuesday, 1530 Engel Road.

¢ Passenger vehicle fire, no injuries, 9:59 a.m. Tuesday, Delaware Street and East 12th Street.

¢ Motor vehicle/pedestrian accident, 10:53 a.m. Tuesday, East 1300 Road and North 900 Road.

What about the young man who was hit by a car on Wakarusa Street around 4:00 on the 11th? Does anybody know if he's ok?
