One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident this morning at the East Lawrence interchange on Interstate Highway 70.

Kansas Turnpike Authority dispatchers said a semi tractor trailer and a Jeep were involved in the accident, which occurred about 7:23 a.m. Dispatch said one person was transported to the Lawrence Service Area and flown by emergency helicopter to KU Medical Center.
