Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 41-year-old Lawrence man reported the theft of his 2000 Chevrolet Blazer and its contents Sunday to Lawrence police. The Blazer was parked in the 700 block of New Hampshire Street and was taken between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday. Losses, including the truck, were estimated at nearly $8,000.

¢ A 2003 Suzuki motorcycle valued at $4,000 was taken Thursday from the 3300 block of Iowa Street. A 35-year-old Lawrence man reported the theft to Lawrence police on Sunday.

¢ A 1992 Chrysler LeBaron convertible valued at $4,000 was taken Thursday night or Friday morning from the 100 block of Maple Street, according to a Lawrence police report. The theft was reported Sunday by a 56-year-old Lawrence man.

¢ Lawrence police are investigating a burglary reported Oct. 18 at Crosstown Tavern, 1910 Haskell Ave. Taken were money, a video game machine, a phone card machine, a computer monitor and a cash register. A doorjamb was damaged. Damage and losses were listed at $8,550. The burglary occurred during the early morning hours of Oct. 18.

¢ A 20-year-old Lawrence man reported to Lawrence police on Oct. 15 that someone broke into his apartment in the 2500 block of West 31st Street. Taken were a laptop computer, Playstation 3, video games and money. Total losses were listed at more than $2,000.
