-Webb’s third field goal try of the game was his first successful conversion, keyed by a nice mixture of Brandon McAnderson on the ground and Todd Reesing through the air on the drive.

5:04: KU – Brandon McAnderson 6 run (Scott Webb kick): 10-0

-McAnderson, who cracked the 100-yard mark just before halftime, kept doing what he’s done best all night – running up the middle. After a couple of big runs by Jake Sharp to set KU up inside the 10-yard line, the Lawrence High product spelled him for a slippery run up the middle and the game’s first touchdown.

:08: KU – Scott Webb 32 field goal: 13-0

-Scott Webb was true for the second straight time after a wacky few plays inside the red zone. The big play on the drive was a 19-yard pass from Todd Reesing to Dezmon Briscoe right off the bat to start it off.

Fourth Quarter

11:29: KU – Brandon McAnderson 3 run (Kerry Meier run failed): 19-0

-McAnderson started the drive off with a 40-yard run, and put himself over the 150-yard mark for the night on his third try inside the five-yard line to score. His second touchdown gave KU a comfortable three-score lead with under 12 minutes to play.

7:20: TAMU – Matt Szymanski 21 field goal: 19-3

-Stephen McGee showed his best production of the game on A&M’s fourth quarter drive. He hit tight end Martellus Bennett three times in KU territory, but couldn’t find anyone once the Aggies had a first-and-goal setup.

2:06: TAMU – Roger Holland 32 pass from Stephen McGee (McGee run): 19-11

-Roger Holland was nearly beheaded by Darrell Stuckey upon catching the ball, but he held on to give the Aggies a glimmer of hope. Stephen McGee kept it going on a quarterback draw for the two-point conversion.
