Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 19-year-old woman from Overland Park reported a theft from a vehicle to Lawrence police on Monday. She reported $100 in vehicle damage to a Dodge Stratus and a stolen Dell computer valued at $1,000. The incident occurred between 12:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday from the 1800 block of West 27th Street.

¢ A 33-year-old Lawrence man reported an auto burglary to Lawrence police on Monday. Items reported stolen included a Pioneer AM/FM/CD player and an iPod. The driver’s and passenger’s door handles on a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe were damaged. The total estimated loss is $2,000. The crime occurred between midnight and 7 a.m. Monday in the 2700 block of Ridge Court.

¢ A 20-year-old Baldwin City man reported criminal damage to a 1999 Harley-Davidson on Friday. The incident occurred between 2:30 p.m. and 4:35 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of Mississippi Street. The total estimated loss is $1,200.

¢ A 24-year-old Lawrence man reported an auto burglary and theft to Lawrence police on Friday. Items reported stolen include a 14-inch yellow toolbox, tools and keys to newspaper racks and lock boxes outside the Lawrence area. The theft occurred between 3 a.m. Oct. 18 and 8 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of New Hampshire Street. The total estimated loss is $2,285.

¢ A 30-year-old Lawrence woman reported the theft of a $2,500 Scope lens to Lawrence police on Friday. The crime occurred between 10 a.m. Aug. 29 and 10:45 a.m. Sept. 12. According to the police report the location of the offense is unknown.
