Law enforcement report

¢ A Lawrence High School resource officer filed a police report Monday after a female sophomore student threatened a male sophomore student with a knife. There were no injuries. School administrators found the female student to be in possession of a second knife and marijuana. The school notified the student’s parents and suspended the student pending a formal disciplinary hearing.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Computer equipment and several electronic items were taken Saturday between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. from a residence in the 1100 block of Ohio Street. Three men in their 20s reported the thefts to Lawrence police Sunday. Losses were listed at $8,225.

¢ Someone took an Apple PowerBook laptop computer during the early morning hours of Saturday from an apartment in the 1200 block of Tennessee Street. The theft was reported to Lawrence police by a 20-year-old Lawrence man. The computer was valued at $2,000.

¢ A 26-year-old Lawrence man reported to Lawrence police that someone vandalized his 2006 Honda motorcycle. The incident occurred between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Tennessee Street. Damage was listed at $2,000.

¢ A 2000 Ford Focus was vandalized Friday night or Saturday morning, a 19-year-old Lawrence woman told Lawrence police. The car was parked in the 800 block of West Eighth Street. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
