Law enforcement report

¢ A 49-year-old man was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Wednesday after his 1995 Dodge pickup truck hit a curb and struck a light pole near the Tee Pee intersection of Kansas Highways 59 and 24-40. The accident occurred about 6:30 p.m.

¢ A semitrailer rolled over near mile marker 7 on Kansas Highway 10 about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. The driver was not reported injured, but the truck was still on the highway Wednesday night, according to a Lawrence dispatcher.

¢ Lawrence police were called about 8:30 p.m. to an attic fire to 703 Ash St. in North Lawrence. Residents were not injured in the fire and police left the scene by 10 p.m.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A neon sign proclaiming “hot doughnuts now” was taken from Joe’s Bakery, 616 W. Ninth St. The theft was reported to Lawrence police Sunday. The sign was valued at $2,500.

¢ Computers and video game boxes were taken in burglaries and thefts in Blalock residential hall at Haskell Indian Nations University, according to a Lawrence police report. The thefts occurred the night of Oct. 12. Losses were listed at $2,400.

¢ Lawrence police are investigating the theft of a 40-inch LCD television taken during a burglary that occurred between Friday and Sunday in the 900 block of Illinois Street. The television was valued at $1,500.
