Law enforcement report

¢ The KU Public Safety Office issued a crime alert Monday related to an incident involving the criminal discharge of a firearm and criminal damage to property. An unknown person discharged a firearm into three windows at Lewis Hall. Two windows were on the east side of Ekdahl Dining Commons and one window was on the west side in the 3rd floor lobby. The incident occurred between 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 38-year-old Lawrence man on Sunday reported the theft of an $1,894 Samsung plasma TV from his residence in the 1600 block of Burning Tree Drive. The incident occurred between 4 p.m. Friday and 11:45 a.m. Sunday.
