Kansas University basketball coach Bill Self has unveiled a “toolbar” that will help fans of the program and supporters of his Assists foundation follow the team.

One can access the toolbar by clicking on the download button featured on the Assists Foundation home page (www.assistyouth.org) and on the KU athletics department Web site (kuathletics.com).

The toolbar features a search engine powered by Yahoo!, the KU men’s basketball schedule, a breaking news scrolling headline window and links to more. Each time someone performs a search and clicks on one of the paid advertiser’s links, the Assists foundation receives a contribution. The foundation is Self’s way to raise money for youths in the area.
