Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 20-year-old Lawrence woman reported an aggravated burglary and theft to Lawrence police on Sunday. She reported two HP computer laptops stolen. The estimated value is $2,400. The incident occurred between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:25 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Alabama Street.

¢ An 18-year-old Lawrence woman reported the theft of a laptop computer worth $2,000 to Lawrence police on Sunday. The incident occurred about 2 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Alabama Street.

¢ On Sept. 30, a 61-year-old De Soto man reported a theft of several items to Lawrence police, including a $1,500 computer system, $200 printer and $845 worth of other items, including an LCD flat-screen monitor and DVDs. Losses also included damage to a rear door of the residence in the 1100 block of Tennessee Street. The incident occurred between 5 p.m. Sept. 29 and about 6 p.m. Sept. 30.

¢ Arcing, shorted electrical wiring, 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, Sixth and Massachusetts streets.

¢ Carbon monoxide detector activation, 11:59 a.m. Tuesday, 942 Avalon Road.
