ABC is choosing to wait until Sunday to decide which game it wants to broadcast on Oct. 20.

The networks usually decide 12 days in advance, but the Big 12’s television deal with ABC allows the network to wait until six days ahead of time three times this season. ABC is using that right for the first time.

After ABC decides on Sunday for its 2:30 p.m. window on Oct. 20, ESPN (4:30 p.m.), Versus (11:30 a.m.) and Fox Sports Net (11:30 a.m.) then will get to decide. Of the five Big 12 games played that weekend — Kansas at Colorado, Texas Tech at Missouri, Texas A&M at Nebraska, Oklahoma at Iowa State and Texas at Baylor — four will be on televison
