Shawnee ? Seventeen Lawrence High cross country runners cracked the top 25 Saturday at Shawnee Mission Park in an event that featured class-by-class races.

LHS senior Kelly Renfro was the top female finisher, taking second in the senior race with a time of 15:15.

Allie Edmonds (19:02) placed 21st in the freshman race, Jordan Herd (17:46) was 16th in the sophomore race, and Alissa Freeman (17:24) was ninth in the junior race.

Sophomore Roy Wedge paced the boys by winning the sophomore race with a time of 16:40.

Nicolas Shump (18:54) was fifth in the freshman race. Ben Wilson (17:22) led all LHS juniors with a seventh-place showing. And Dylan Hedges (17:52) was the top senior finisher.
