Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police are investigating a report that a 19-year-old Gladstone, Mo., woman was raped by a 21-year-old man from Columbus, Kan., in a central Lawrence residence. The incident allegedly occurred during a gathering between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Nov. 10.

¢ A woman told Lawrence police recently that a 40-year-old man allegedly had illegal sexual relations with her son between 1996 and 2001. Her son, who has a physical disability, was 14 when the first incident occurred. The suspect and the victim were acquaintances.

¢ Lawrence police are investigating a report that a 31-year-old Lawrence man had illegal sexual relations with a 14-year-old Lawrence girl in her eastern Lawrence home between May 15 and Sept. 12. The victim and suspect were acquaintances.

¢ An 18-year-old Lawrence woman claims that an 18-year-old man raped her in a southeast Lawrence residence at 2 a.m. Nov. 3. The suspect and victim are acquaintances. Police are investigating.

¢ Lawrence police also are investigating a report that a 64-year-old Hill City man illegally touched a 6-year-old Lawrence girl at the home of the victim on the night of Nov. 21 or the morning hours of Nov. 22. Police were called to the Lawrence Memorial Hospital emergency room by the girl’s mother Nov. 22.

¢ On the afternoon of Nov. 3 Lawrence police were called to the South Park Recreation area where a transient man and woman were seen lying on the floor of the men’s public restroom without their clothes. They were found by a 34-year-old Lawrence man who was in the park with his children. The transients were cited for indecent exposure.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Kohl’s Department Store, 3240 Iowa, reported to police the theft of more than $3,480 in merchandise because of the removal of theft detection devices. The various types of merchandise were taken between Nov. 13 and Nov. 15.
