Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Someone broke into a vehicle and took a laptop computer and several other electronic items Saturday or Sunday in the 1100 block of North Third Street. The burglary and theft were reported to Lawrence police Sunday by a 21-year-old Lawrence man. Losses and damage were listed at more than $2,000.

¢ A 49-year-old Lawrence man told Lawrence police Sunday that several items were taken when his vehicle was broken into Saturday or Sunday while it was parked in the 1100 block of Parkside Circle. Taken were a 12-gauge shotgun, a cell phone and camouflage coveralls. Losses amounted to $1,800.

¢ A 42-inch television and video game system were taken from a residence in the 2300 block of Yale Road between Wednesday and Saturday, according to a Lawrence police report. The burglary was reported by a 22-year-old Lawrence man. Losses were listed at about $2,000.
