Police seek person of interest in kidnapping

Lawrence police are seeking the public’s help in finding a fourth person wanted in connection with a kidnapping earlier this month at a south Lawrence apartment complex.
Police are trying to locate 27-year-old Berlon Marquette Muse. He’s believed to be in the Kansas City area and is considered armed and dangerous. Police say he has access to a black 1993 Mazda MX6 coupe with Kansas tag 156535.
Police say Muse is a “person of interest” in their investigation into a kidnapping Nov. 10 in the 2500 block of Redbud Lane.
A woman told police she was held inside an apartment for more than 15 hours.
Two Lawrence women and a Topeka man already face multiple kidnapping charges in connection with the incident.
Anyone with information about Muse is asked to call the Lawrence Police Department or CrimeStoppers at 843-8477.
