A federal gun charge filed earlier this year against owners of Yellow House Store, 1904 Mass., recently was dismissed.

A U.S. District Court judge in Kansas City, Kan., granted a motion by Guy and Carrie Neighbors to dismiss the charge based on the 70-day speedy trial act.

That charge alleged the Neighbors illegally possessed weapons while they were unlawful users of a controlled substance.

This was the second time the gun charge was dismissed. The couple initially were charged in December 2006. It was dismissed by the U.S. Attorney's office in May when prosecutors said they intended to follow up with additional evidence. The charge was refiled in June.

Guy Neighbors said the fact that the charge has been dismissed twice speaks for itself.

"This whole thing has been a long, torturous, drawn-out situation," he said.

The Neighbors still face other federal drug charges and, in a separate case, allegations of money laundering and wire fraud.

Either no crimes were ever really committed or someone sure doesn't know how to do their job.Time to give it up and let the people get on with their lives.

I wonder how many times can a person be arrested, falsly accused, and drug through the court just to have the charges dismissed the day of the trial.

I wonder how many times can a person be arrested, falsly accused, and drug through the court just to have the charges dismissed the day of the trial.

Then one month later the exact same charges are refiled and the person is arrested, shackeled and the public was lied to about more evidence that did not exist!

Then charges are dismissed again.

Well the Federal money launder and wire fraud charge (still pending) The Prosecutor U.S. Attorney Marietta Parker from the U.S. Department of Justice now claims was investigated by the FBI.

Just more lies and public deception. (because the FBI claims they never investigated the Yellow House) This has been confirmed by the Kansas City FBI and the Topeka FBI.

The IRS agent that was investigating and doing extended audits, found no wrong doing by the Yellow House and has already backed out of the case.

The Postal Service Agent that was investigating found no proof anything stolen had been shipped and has also been removed from the case.

THe latest indictment was gotten because the Prosecutor made a deal with 4 time convicted felon Patrick Nieder to give false testimony to the Grand Jury (even though its been years since he has been in the Yellow House store) in exchg. for his testimony he was released from prison and 8 years was cut off his 10 yr. sentence.
