Theater announces upcoming auditions

November 15, 2007

Lawrence Community Theatre has scheduled auditions for "Greater Tuna," a comedy about small-town values.

The auditions will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 27-Nov. 28 at the theater, 1501 N.H. Production is scheduled from Jan. 18 to Feb. 3.

In the course of the show, written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard, two actors bring to life the story of Tuna, Texas. It's a town where the Lions Club is considered too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies.

The show will be directed by Doug Weaver, assisted by Jeff Blair. Scripts are available for checkout at the theater office with a deposit.
