Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 20-year-old Lawrence man reported the theft of several items to Lawrence police on Tuesday, including five hand-held microphones, a RapcoHorizon cord with 16 inputs and four outputs and speaker cables. The total estimated loss is $1,760. The crime occurred between 6:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Tuesday from the 1000 block of Tennessee Street.

¢ A 37-year-old Lawrence man reported the theft of several items, including amplifiers, speakers and a CD player. The crime occurred between 10 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday in the 1900 block of West 31st Street. The total estimated loss is $1,100.

¢ A 28-year-old Lawrence man was arrested by Kansas University Public Safety officers for unlawfully using a Target credit card and another credit card that belonged to the KU Union for personal purchases. According to KU police, the man was a former employee of the university and worked in the union. Purchases were made at Wal-Mart, Target, a motel, and for alcohol, according to reports. The crimes occurred between Oct. 12 and Oct. 27.
