One person injured in morning accident
The injuries were not believed to be life-threatening
Medics took one person to Lawrence Memorial Hospital after a two-vehicle accident at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the 1600 block of West Second Street.
Workers with Lawrence Douglas County Fire & Medical reported to dispatchers that the person taken by ambulance had complained of neck pain. The injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
Three other people were reported to have suffered minor injuries. They were not transported to the hospital.
