Tonganoxie police say there were still no signs overnight and early on Saturday of a man suspected of assault and attempted murder of a woman.

Authorities searched for Errol Mustafa Sutton throughout Leavenworth County on Friday, prompting some schools, including Tonganoxie High School, to take special security precautions after a police officer spotted a suspicious vehicle nearby.

Topeka Police believe Sutton may have attacked a woman there on Wednesday and then stolen her car.

He was last seen near 218th and Parallel, north of Tonganoxie.
