Kansas University’s School of Fine Arts commencement convocation will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Lied Center.

Tanya Hartman, KU associate professor of art, will be the speaker at this year’s ceremony. Dawn Marie Guernsey, chairwoman of the art department, Gregory Thomas, chairman of the design department, and Larry Mallett, chairman of the music and dance department, will recognize the students graduating with honors. Steven Hedden, dean of the School of Fine Arts, will provide remarks at this year’s convocation ceremony. Approximately 250 undergraduate students and approximately 55 graduate students were invited to participate.
