Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police are investigating a report that a 21-year-old Ottawa man had sexual contact with a 12-year-old Ottawa girl in northwest Lawrence. The girl’s father filed the report April 24, alleging the contact happened “several years ago,” according to a police report.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ 2525 W. Sixth St., Westminster Inn: Sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. Monday someone took nine air-conditioning units valued at $1,880.

¢ 1500 block of Tennessee Street: Someone took items valued at $3,580, including a Sony digital camera and three laptop computers from the residence sometime between 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 a.m. Sunday.
