Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police early Sunday arrested a 26-year-old Emporia man after reports that he exposed a body part and inappropriately touched himself inside The Pool Room, 925 Iowa.

Police arrested the suspect about 12:30 a.m. Sunday and found on the suspect’s body a loaded handgun and a pill bottle containing rocks consistent with crack cocaine.

The suspect initially refused to enter the police car after his arrest and pushed an officer into a patrol vehicle, according to a police brief. He was booked in Douglas County Jail on charges of assault on a law enforcement officer, possession with intent to sell marijuana, obstruction of the legal process, no tax stamp, criminal possession of a firearm, defacing ID of a firearm, lewd and lascivious behavior, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.
