Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police arrested a 26-year-old Emporia man on nearly a dozen charges about 5 a.m. Sunday, according to jail records.

The man was booked into the Douglas County Jail on charges including assaulting a law enforcement officer, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, obstruction of a legal proceeding, criminal possession of a firearm and lewd and lascivious behavior.

The man also was wanted on a Lyon County warrant. Bail was set at $8,700 for nine of the charges, but he was denied bail on the other two. The Lyon County warrant carried a bail of $25,000.

As of Sunday night, he remained in the Douglas County Jail.
