Law enforcement report

¢ A 21-year-old man was arrested twice Thursday. The first time was at 10:51 a.m. after police noticed he had an expired license plate and learned he had an outstanding warrant. Police found the same man driving the same car at 1:20 p.m. and attempted to stop him. The man got out of his car in the 1700 block of West Fourth Street and ran away. Police later apprehended him in the 400 block of Minnesota Street.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ 5600 block of Silverstone Drive: A 54-year-old Lawrence man reported that $1,076 worth of construction tools were stolen between 11:40 p.m. and 12:20 a.m. Monday.

¢ 900 block of New Hampshire Street: A resident reported $1,000 damage to the rear driver’s side window and wheel well of a vehicle about 8 p.m. Wednesday.
