Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police officers responded to a call at 9:48 a.m. Wednesday in the 2400 block of East 27th Terrace regarding an unresponsive 2-month-old baby boy. The baby was pronounced dead at the scene. Police suspect no foul play in the baby’s death.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A theft of a laptop computer was reported Sunday in the 4000 block of Overland Drive. The computer was worth an estimated $1,501.

¢ A burglary of electronics equipment was reported about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of Crossgate Drive. A wood door frame was damaged in the burglary. Among the stolen items were two televisions and a stereo system. The value of all the items was an estimated $1,350.

Injury accidents

¢ A 37-year-old Lawrence man was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital when his 1997 Ford Escort was rear-ended by a 1994 Chrysler LHS in an eastbound lane of Clinton Parkway near Lawrence Avenue.

Chad Leever’s car then went forward and struck a 2001 Nissan Maxima, which then hit a 1990 Lincoln Town Car.
