Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police are investigating a report of aggravated criminal sodomy involving a 12-year-old Lawrence boy and an 8-year-old Lawrence girl. The alleged unlawful physical contact took place between February 2006 and February 2007 in south Lawrence.

¢ An investigation continues in a reported case of an 11-year-old Grantville boy who allegedly had unlawful physical contact with a 16-year-old Lawrence boy about 10:30 p.m. March 24 in North Lawrence.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Power tools were reported stolen at 8:21 a.m. Monday from the 800 block of Ohio Street. A chain saw and concrete saw made up most of the reported $1,269 worth of equipment stolen from the residence.

Injury accidents

¢ A 28-year-old Lawrence woman was taken to the hospital after a car she was riding in was rear-ended about 10 a.m. Monday near Seventh and Connecticut streets. Stephanie Wilk, 28, was in a southbound 1981 Chevrolet Caprice on Connecticut Street when a 2001 Dodge Dakota struck the car. She was treated at Lawrence Memorial Hospital and released.

¢ A 9-year-old girl fell about 6 feet from a tree about 7 p.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of Michael Street near Dad Perry Park. The child, whose identity was not available Tuesday night, was life-flighted to a Kansas City area hospital. She did not appear to suffer external injuries and her transport was for precautionary measures.
