Law enforcement report

¢ A 17-year-old Lawrence man reported criminal damage done to his vehicle sometime between 11:30 p.m. Monday and 11:15 a.m. Tuesday in the 1600 block of Vermont Street. According to a police report, someone allegedly cut a hole in the convertible top of the man’s 1985 Toyota Celica. The damage estimate was $500.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 58-year-old Lawrence woman reported the attempted burglary at a 24-year-old Lawrence woman’s home between 2 p.m. Wednesday and 1 p.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of Louisiana Street.

Damage to the home was estimated at $500.

Fire calls

¢ Fire crews were dispatched about 9:32 p.m. Saturday to 1316 E. 902 Road near Eagle Bend Golf Course on a report that three portable toilets were on fire. They were quickly brought under control.
