Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police are investigating an incident in which a 26-year-old man allegedly battered a 24-year-old woman. The incident reportedly occurred early Thursday at Astro’s, 601 Kasold Drive. The man left and later called the woman by phone and threatened her for calling police.

¢ A 22-year-old Lawrence woman was arrested after she allegedly struck a 42-year-old Lawrence man in the head with a bottle. She allegedly threw another bottle at the windshield of the man’s pickup truck, causing it to shatter. The incident occurred about 9:20 p.m. Wednesday.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Several motors were taken from Automotive Machine and Performance, 715 E. 22nd St., early Wednesday. The motors had been left outside the business. Losses were listed at $1,650. Lawrence police are investigating.
