My 7-year-old, William, wanted me to take him fishing at Clinton Lake. I told him I wanted to watch the basketball game. “Record it,” he said. I told him sporting events have to be watched live, if you care about the result. “Record it anyway,” he replied. “You can’t record going fishing.” We went fishing, but we got back 10 minutes into the first half.
