The Kansas Jayhawks hit the Road to the Final Four at 4 p.m. today, when they board a motorcoach at the south end of Allen Fieldhouse, ride to Forbes Field in Topeka and board a charter flight to Chicago.

Basketball players, coaches, staffers and others – including hundreds of hoops-hungry KU fans from across the country – are converging in Chicago, where Kansas plays at 6:10 p.m. Friday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

The team is scheduled to conduct its only open-to-the-public practice from 4:25 p.m. to 5:05 p.m. Thursday at the United Center.
